President Droupadi Murmu Attends Ol Chiki Centenary and NIT Jamshedpur Convocation

Visit to Ol Chiki Centenary Celebrations
The President will travel to Jamshedpur via a special helicopter from Ranchi. Her first stop will be the Dishom Jaherthan courtyard in Karandih, located on the outskirts of Jamshedpur in East Singhbhum district.

- Ol Chiki script was introduced in 1925

During the event, President Murmu will pay tribute to Pandit Raghunath Murmu, who developed the Ol Chiki script to preserve and promote the Santhali language and culture.
NIT Jamshedpur Convocation Ceremony
Later in the day, the President will attend the 15th convocation ceremony of NIT Jamshedpur, located in the Adityapur area of Saraikela-Kharsawan district.

Next Day’s Programme
On the following day, President Murmu will visit Gumla district to participate in the Antarrajyiya Jansanskritik Samagam Samaroh–Kartik Jatra, an interstate folk cultural festival.

After completing her engagements in Jharkhand, the President will return to Delhi on Tuesday.
