PM Modi Chairs 5th National Conference of Chief Secretaries in New Delhi
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is presiding over the fifth National Conference of Chief Secretaries being held in New Delhi. The three-day event, which began yesterday, aims to strengthen cooperation between the Centre and States through structured discussions on key national development priorities.
The conference is being organised in line with the Prime Minister’s vision of cooperative federalism, where the Centre and States work together to build a unified development roadmap. Theme: Human Capital for Viksit Bharat
This year’s conference revolves around the theme “Human Capital for Viksit Bharat”. Discussions are centred on identifying best practices and scalable strategies that States and Union Territories can adopt to strengthen human resource development across sectors.

- School Education
- Skill Development
- Higher Education
- Sports and Extracurricular Activities

The conference includes six dedicated thematic sessions that address crucial policy and governance challenges. These sessions cover:

- AgriStack for efficient supply chains and market access
