About The Raja Saab
Directed by Maruthi and produced by TG Vishwa Prasad under the People Media Factory banner, The Raja Saab is a horror-comedy entertainer featuring an ensemble cast. Alongside Prabhas, the film stars Sanjay Dutt, Zarina Wahab, Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal, and Riddhi Kumar.
Prabhas essays the role of Raja Saab, a man deeply connected to his grandmother, played by Zarina Wahab. The story revolves around his entry into a deserted haveli in search of answers—only to uncover terrifying secrets hidden within its walls.
Sanjay Dutt and Boman Irani’s Intriguing Roles
Sanjay Dutt portrays a chilling hypnotist who uses psychological manipulation rather than physical force. Boman Irani appears as a mysterious psychiatrist and paranormal investigator, grounding the film’s supernatural narrative with intellect and restraint.
Prabhas on the Film’s Journey
Sharing his experience, Prabhas said the film was born from a desire to give audiences a complete entertainer amid action-heavy cinema trends. He praised director Maruthi’s writing, especially the climax, calling it one of the most powerful endings seen in the horror-comedy genre.
The Raja Saab will release worldwide on January 9 in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam, aiming to make a strong impact during the Sankranti festive season.
