Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu Box Office: Chiranjeevi Film Breaks Akhanda 2 Premiere Record

Strong Buzz Fuels Impressive Premiere Response

Directed by Anil Ravipudi, the action-comedy marks his first collaboration with Chiranjeevi. Given the director’s consistent track record and his massive success last Sankranti, expectations were sky-high ahead of release.

Paid premiere shows were conducted on January 11 across India and key overseas markets, including the USA and Canada. The film witnessed robust advance bookings and healthy walk-in ticket sales, reflecting the excitement surrounding Chiranjeevi’s big-screen comeback after a two-year gap.

Rs 24 Crore Premiere Collection Creates History

According to early industry estimates, Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu collected approximately Rs 24 crore gross worldwide from paid premieres alone. With this feat, the film has registered the highest-ever premiere collection for a senior Tollywood hero.

The Chiranjeevi starrer comfortably surpassed the previous record held by Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Akhanda 2, which earned around Rs 15 crore during its premiere run.

Opening Day Advance Bookings Signal a Massive Start

The momentum did not stop with the premieres. The film reportedly closed its opening-day advance bookings in India at nearly Rs 24 crore gross, including over Rs 9 crore from premiere shows.

Overseas markets also contributed strongly, with first-day pre-sales crossing Rs 11 crore. Overall, worldwide advance ticket sales for day one exceeded Rs 35 crore gross, pointing towards a roaring opening at the box office.

All Eyes on Day 1 and Weekend Collections

With record-breaking premieres and massive advance bookings, Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu is poised for a powerful opening day and an impressive weekend run. Trade analysts are now keenly watching how far the Chiranjeevi starrer can go in the coming days.
